Fresh Summer and Christmas Carols Cards for Lemoncraft

Hello, everyone and happy Tuesday!! It's my turn to post on the Lemoncraft Blog and I have several cards to share with you using the two new gorgeous Lemoncraft paper stacks, which are available now in my ETSY Shop!!

For my first set of cards, I've used the Fresh Summer Collection. I love the fresh, summery colors in this collection. For these four cards, I've used the 12x12 papers, the Basic paper stack, Vintage Time 014 and Fresh Summer Badges. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART. I've also used Prills for added texture.

For my second set of cards, I've used the beautiful new Christmas Carols Collection, which has quickly become one of my favorite collections.

For these four cards, I used the 12x12 Collection, the Christmas Carols Ephemera Cards and the Christmas Carols Badges. Again, the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon is from DL.ART.

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

Flower-Covered Marquee Letter for Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello, everyone and happy Monday!! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog and I'd love for you to stop by if you have time :) This month, the designers were challenged to create projects outside our norm, so today, I have a home decor project to share with you featuring several Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and embellishments.

So, when I had the idea to decorate the letter, I had my niece Lexi in mind. I thought I'd pretty up the L for her. Then when I finished, I thought, pink, flowers, why not just keep it for myself??!! Lexi never has to know if was supposed to be for her ;) But then my Mom saw it and said, "Oh, did you make that for me?" Her name is Lana :)  So, to decorate my Mom's letter, I painted it pink and used papers from Lemoncraft on the inside. I covered the outside using Andy Skinner's Mega Crackle technique.

I used an assortment of flowers to cover the letter, including Lotus, Cottage Roses, Trellis Roses, Lily Flowers, Apple Blossoms, Hip Rosebuds, Sweetheart Blossoms and Open Roses.I also used Small Double Stamens, Pearl Sprays, Flat Back Pearl String and White Mulberry Paper Leaves.

And here it is lit up:

Live a Life Inspired for Wild Orchid Crafts

Hello, everyone and happy Thursday!! I hope you are having a wonderful week!! It's my turn to post on the Wild Orchid Crafts blog and I'd love for you to stop by, if you have time :) This month, the designers were challenged to create projects different from our norm. I can't remember the last time I made a scrapbook page, so I thought this would be a great opportunity to remedy that oversight, using an assortment of flowers and supplies from Wild Orchid Crafts :)

For my layout, I used papers from Kaisercraft's Enchanted Garden, and I left the space blank for a picture, to be added later. The clock off to the side is also from Kaisercraft. The tag pulls out so you can journal on the back, too.

For the sentiment, I used a Donna Downey stencil and a Prima Chalk Edger, and then added some doodles with a white gel pen. I applied crackle paste through a Prima stencil and then ended up covering most of it up :)

I used an assortment of flowers, including Lotus Flowers, Magnolias, Cottage Roses, Trellis Roses, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds and Lilies. I also added some TuTu Pink Prills and Memory Box butterflies.

I also used some of the new Pink Double Stamens (love them!!), Mulberry Paper Leaves, Guipure Lace, Vintage Seam Binding, Flat Back Pearl String and Pearl Sprays, as well as Self-Adhesive Pearls. I also added tulle for a bit of added texture.

A Memory Box Adler Star Corner was used on the bottom layer. An Avery Elle Wonky Stitches  die was used in the center, and a Memory Box Sideshow Ticket die was adhered to the top

Two doily dies were layered: a Cheery Lynn French Pastry Doily and a Prima Crochet Doily. The tag is a Sue Wilson Pierced Tags die.

It pulls out to reveal the sentiment, from My Creative Time.

Tucked among the flowers are Concord & 9th Layering Leaves, Penny Black Graceful Greenery, and Memory Box Stitched Leaves. I also used some of my latest obsession...Prills in TuTu Pink.
